Trout Candy

Proven To Work

Get the most out of your fishing trip with a jar of Trout Candy in your vest. These eggs have proven to produce fish after fish. For cathcing stocked trout and wild trout! Please check your local regulatoins as this product is not suitable for artificial lures only sectoins.

Natural Salmon Eggs

The salmon eggs are the real deal and that is what makes trout want to eat them time and time again.

Even though they are cured, they are left in a delicate natural state and a small / sharp hook is required. Hook sizes 14-18 are suggested.  Daiichi® skud hooks or Raven Sedge hooks are the only hooks recommended when using Trout Candy.

Best Practiced Setup When Using Trout Candy

Trout Fishing Made Easy

A very simple setup is all it takes to turn fishing into catching.

As mentioned above, it is important to utilize a size 14-18 Daiichi® Skud Hook or a Raven Sedge Hook when using Trout Candy.

Using a good and trusty Trout Magnet float to help you drift is alwaays a good idea.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at mountaineertroutfishing@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Although there are no specific scents added to the salmon eggs, this product is not recomended for delayed harvest or artifial only streams. Please check your local regulations.

It's important to have the proper hook when using Trout Candy. These salmon eggs are not the style you are used to seeing on the shalves. They are softer due to the different curing process. Using the improper hook adds to the chances of the egg bursting when hooking.

If the appropriate hook is being used and the egg is still bursting, try holding the egg softer. It's important not to squeeze the egg when hooking. We want al of those natural flavoars inside the bait when we cast into the water!

Due ot the curing process, these eggs are designed to "milk" in the water. After a couple of casts, your egg juice will have disolved into the water and now you egg is fuiled with creek water. Simply replace with new egg and get back in there!
